Creative Hatha Yoga at About Balance Brighton
Hatha Yoga is the physical practice of establishing a healthful connection between our body and mind, connecting with the universe around us more smoothly, and finding peace within ourselves. This class offers a refreshing twist to this traditional practice.
Creative themes will weave through traditional yoga sequencing of flowing sun salutations that warm up the body and get the energy moving in preparation for holding asanas (poses) that are designed to increase flexibility, strength, blood flow and toning of muscles, organs and even bones. This movement is combined with pranayama (breathwork), mudras (gestures), yogic philosophy and ending in Savasana – a pose of complete relaxation and guided meditation.
By engaging with the vast array of yogic techniques developed over thousands of years everyone will find something in this class that will help them on their journey towards physical health, mental peace and soulful fulfilment.
