Kundalini Yoga at About Balance Brighton
Kundalini yoga is often described as the Yoga of Awareness. It can contribute to deep changes over time, yet immediately impact you both powerfully and subtly. It helps to relieve stress, to promote both physical and emotional healing and ultimately to connect with a profound and transforming spiritual energy.
It is practised through a combination of asanas (yoga positions), mudras (hand gestures), bandhas (body locks), breathing, and mantras (sounds). It consists of different kriyas (sets of exercises) and meditations that are for specific conditions and specific results. The periods of relaxation also play an important part in a yoga session.
Anyone can practise it and no experience is required.
