Both my parents followed spiritual paths as I was growing up, so I’ve always been interested in spiritual philosophy, and became interested in yoga and meditation on and off since childhood. I studied psychology and philosophy, and always had a book on the go about something spiritual. My practice became serious from 2010 onward, when I realised the benefit and importance of a yoga and meditation practice as a constant in my life, as I suffered from a lot of anxiety which was quite debilitating. Yoga helped me to overcome this. I spent time on retreats, courses, travelling, and in 2016 trained for my 200 hours teacher training at a traditional yoga school in Kerala, India, called the School of Santhi. I now hope to help bring the benefits of yoga into other peoples lives.
